5. Many devices, one platform
With Xbox One's Windows 10 update in November 2015, users are able to stream games onto Windows 10 devices within the same network.
Apple's response to this has been the introduction of iOS applications on its next Apple TV device.
This will allow consumers not only to access these applications on the Apple TV, but to also operate them via other iOS devices, such as multiplayer games using iPhones as controllers.
