China's Vice-Premier Li Keqiang has visited the Wong Cho Tong District Elderly Community Centre in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon.
Accompanied by Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen and Eva Cheng Yu-wah, Secretary for Transport and Housing Department and chairman of the Housing Authority, Li also visited the Hong Kong Housing Authority Exhibition Centre which showcased the history and policy of public housing in the territory.
Affordable housing has remained one of Li's major agenda – other than healthcare system reform and food safety issue – since he took office.
Li is scheduled to visit low and middle income families in Hong Kong, after which he will meet with Hong Kong's business representatives and professionals.
