Chinese stocks open mixed - April 17

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,195.03 points, up 0.01 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened flat at 8,852.78.
