Record-high sales at SAIC

SAIC Motor Corp Ltd recently announced that its 2012 sales increased 12 percent to a record high of 4.49 million vehicles from all-round growth in its own companies and joint ventures. Sales by Shanghai Volkswagen increased 9.79 percent to 1.28 million units while Shanghai GM grew 13.08 percent to 1.39 million vehicles.
