Forestry expo for Sanming, Fujian

The eighth cross-Straits Forestry Expo will be held in Sanming, Fujian province, from Nov 6 to 9 to enhance cooperation between the mainland and Taiwan in the forestry industry.

Featuring exhibitions and symposiums on forest management and wood technology, the expo will invite more than 300 experts and entrepreneurs in the forestry industry from Taiwan.

Compared with previous events, this year's expo will expand its content from only forestry and agriculture to industries such as biological medicine, new materials, green food and rare-earth mining.

For the first time, there will be an exclusive exhibition area displaying unique Taiwanese products ranging from woodwork to food.
