The average sales growth in the first six months was 10.69 percent, in line with expectations.
In June, the top 50 consumer electronic products retailers reported 24 percent average growth from the same time last year, also the highest growth rate in 2012.
Experts said the growth is partially related to promotions by Chinese online retailers such as Tmall.com and 360buy in June. The figures from 360buy show clothing sales in June increased nine-fold year-on-year.
Meanwhile, increasing demand for Children's Day and the Dragon Boat Festival also boosted sales. The center said food products sales increased 18 percent month-on-month from May.
