British luxury automaker Jaguar is introducing a new beautiful, fast car to the 2011 Shanghai auto show - all-new Jaguar XJ Premium Luxury specifically designed for the Chinese market.
The all-new long-wheelbase XJ Premium Luxury features a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and has a top speed of 238 km/h.
The lightweight aluminum body helps the latest XJ to offer improved fuel economy. It uses 11.6 liters of gasoline every 100 kilometers with carbon emissions of 272 grams per kilometer.
Recipient of a British Royal Warrant in recognition of its excellence and quality, the XJ is also the car which transports the British prime minister.
Since the model was first introduced in 1968, more than 800,000 XJs have been sold around the world, half of Jaguar's total over the past four decades.
While continuing the model's inherited luxurious and stylish design language, the business edition offers a larger interior to meet the specific demands of Chinese customers.
Its panoramic sunroof also creates a spacious feeling, and even in strong sunlight, maintains a high level of comfort by automatically darkening.
Sun shields are also fitted if no outside light is wanted.
The quiet, soundproof interior contributes to its luxurious feel and smooth ride.
