Topic 1: The Ministry of Finance released the accumulated data of personal income tax during the January to October period on Nov 9. It reached 534.7 billion yuan ($84.2 billion) and exceeded the whole year's budget target of 520 billion yuan two months in advance. If the growth rate in the last two months keeps stable as in October, it is expected that the whole scale will increase by 80 billion yuan this year. The fiscal revenue in the first 10 months generated more than 9 trillion yuan in comparison with last year's total number of 8.3 trillion yuan.
YIYIYI: Since the target for this year's personal income tax has been achieved in advance, should the government exempt the tax for the last two months? According to the growth rate, it is estimated that this year's total fiscal revenue would be 10.8 trillion yuan. What about the average disposable personal income?
LIUHUADEWEIBO: The target has been beaten in advance with the threshold of personal income tax elevated this year, which is so absurd.
AISEXIAOQIANG: I don't care if too much has been taxed or not. All I hope is that the money being taxed will be spent on all taxpayers instead of a small group of privileged people. Please expand the establishment of education facilities in rural areas. Please strengthen the construction of infrastructure. These are my biggest wishes.
Topic 2: The movie Love is not Blind, an adaptation of a popular online novel, has generated more than 100 million yuan in box office receipts in four days since it was released on Nov 8. It was widely said the movie, describing a couple disappointed about their love lives, was so popular because its debut was on singles' day, Nov 11, 2011 (or 2011-11-11). Despite other two Hollywood blockbusters on show at the same time, some said, Love is not Blind was the surprise movie hit of this year.
FM888YAJING: After stepping into the cinema, the long line in front of me shocked me a great deal. I think I had to wait for about 30 minutes before I got a ticket.
LORAMIND: There is a girl who posted what she felt after she broke up with her boyfriend on Douban.com and updated the content once a day. Then netizens turned what she had written into a novel, after which the novel was adapted into a film. The girl is called Bao Jingjing and the film is called Love is not Blind.
ZHEN_ZHEN: One month ago when I was single, another boy who's also single asked me to watch the film with him together today (Nov 11). However, I'm not single today and I feel obliged to say sorry to the boy that I'm not able to go to the cinema tonight with him.
