Guangxi receives more tourists

South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region received 498,300 inbound tourists in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 18.6 percent on the same period of last year, according to the provincial bureau of statistics.

The total included 258,500 tourists from other countries, up 22.1 percent year-on-year, 101,700 from Hong Kong, up 28.4 percent.

Visitors from Indonesia to Guangxi went down 30.3 percent year-on-year, and those from Philippines, down 27.6 percent.
