Travel agencies in Shanghai are starting to offer tour packages to Egypt again, after regional unrest caused disruptions to the country's tourism sector.
The relaunch comes after China's foreign ministry lifted travel warnings against Egypt. Travel agencies in Shanghai are lowering prices by around 10 to 15 percent to attract tourists. But tour routes are still restricted, mostly to Cairo and the Red Sea.
Shanghai's travel operators are planning to offer more routes, for a share of what's usually Egypt's peak tourism season.
