Sinopec pays hundreds of billions to investors

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (Sinopec), the biggest petrochemical company in Asia, has paid dividends worth 104 billion yuan to its shareholders in the past decade, Shanghai Securities News reported Tuesday.

The Hong Kong-, New York-, London- and Shanghai-listed company has produced 827 million tons of petroleum products and 45.3 million tons of ethylene and distributed 959 million tons of oil in the past ten years.

The State-owned enterprise has 14 10-million-ton-level refinery bases, six 1-million-ton-level ethylene production bases and four joint-ventured ethylene production bases in China.

The company's 30,000 gas stations formed the largest oil service network in China.
