China may allow commercial banks and trust companies to resume their financing cooperation after the banking regulator issues detailed rules, the Shanghai Securities News reported Friday, citing an unidentified person familiar with the situation.

The China Banking Regulatory Commission is expected to release detailed rules to regulate the transactions, which have been halted for almost a month, the newspaper said.
