Two car models - the Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro supercar and S5 Cabriolet - will make their Asia debut in Shanghai. Both models fully display Audi's century-long sporty heritage.

Not only endowed with updated interpretations of its classic exterior design, the R8 5.2 FSI quattro also offers more efficient power performance. Its 5.2L 10-cylinder engine has maximum power output of 386kW and torque of 530Nm, enabling it to reach 100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 316km/h.

As the flagship model of Audi's convertible series, the S5 Cabriolet is equipped with a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine that offers astonishing power and eco-friendly driving experience. Its performance is superior to the 8-cyliner engine, yet offers 9.7L/100km fuel efficiency with emission levels that meet Euro IV standards.

As the classic representative of Type C models, the Type C Streamliner will also appear in the Audi booth at the Shanghai show.

Over Audi's 100 years of design and production, the Type C broke 15 world records and 23 racing records in its class with such visionary technologies as independent suspension, 16-cylinder mid-engine design and lightweight bodies, creating the Audi motor sport legend.

In 1937, the Type C Streamliner with an extremely streamlined exterior, lightweight body and mid engine reached a speed of 406.3km/h on the highway in Frankfurt, Germany. Streamlined body designs and mid engine layout have since become the standard for modern racecars.
