A trade fair and two exhibitions, including the China Product Fair, will showcase different Chinese products in Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh City from November 21-24, local newspaper Vietnam Economic Times reported Monday.

Over 200 Chinese enterprises will display their goods at an exhibition specialized in informatics, communications, electronics, an exhibition on products of China's Guangdong province, and the China Product Fair. The goods include electronics appliances, automobiles, motorbikes, engines, office stationery, school aid, agricultural machines, construction materials, cloth, and garment accessories.

During the fair and exhibitions, some seminars will be held to help Chinese companies better understand Vietnam's market and investment environment, and seek business and investment opportunities with local partners.

The events will be held by some Chinese and Vietnamese firms in coordination with such local agencies as the ministries of Science and Technology, and Planning and Investment, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Trade between China and Vietnam grew to over $9.95 billion in 2006 from $8.2 billion in 2005, according to the Chinese Commercial Ministry.
