Dell sees 30% production growth in China

Dell Inc expects production in China for the domestic market to show continued short-term growth of 30 percent, meaning the world's No 2 PC maker might add another factory in three to four years, its top manufacturing executive in the country said.

In the fiscal third quarter of 2006, Dell logged 33 percent growth in the number of computers it made and sold in China - roughly double the pace of overall market growth, but in line with Dell's average.
