Central China province to build five logistics hubs

According to theHebeiDevelopment and Reform Commission, five logistics hub cities will be established during the11th Five-Year Program(2006-2010) period in this Central China province.

The Shijiazhuang logistics hub is based on comparative advantages in traffic, talent and industry. Shijiazhuang will build itself into an important land transportation hub, a key regional logistics center, and a national second-tier logistics city.

The Tangshan logistics hub is based on comparative advantages in metallurgy, chemicals, building materials and coal. Tangshan should build itself into an international energy raw material distribution port, a national energy reserve center, a regional logistics center and a second-tier logistics city.
