Online job interviews for college students(Xinhua)Updated: 2007-01-01 14:35 The Chinese government will organize a series of online video job interviews in January 2007 for 4.95 million college students who will graduate this summer. From January 4 to 18, the Ministry of Education and other government departments will organize four online job interview sessions, including three in the fields of health, agriculture and information technology and one for national economic and development zones. "A lot of information about job vacancies and job seekers in these fields will be posted free on our website, www.myjob.edu.cn," said Yu Jian, an official with the ministry's educational management information center, adding employers may also seek online interviews with students. He said online job interviews, especially those organized by the government, would make job hunting easier and safer for college graduates. "It will also save students and employers a lot of money and time, especially if they are far apart," he said.
