Angola, China's biggest oil supplier

Customs statistics show that crude oil from Africa, including Angola, Congo and Equatorial Guinea, amounted to 36.75 million tons in the first ten months of this year, accounting for 31 percent of total imported amount.

Angola was first with an export amount of 19.59 million tons, accounting for 16.3 percent of total imports, up 42.6 percent year on year.

Middle Eastern countries are still the main crude oil providers for China, with Saudi Arabia, Iran and Oman exporting 54.46 million tons in the first ten months of this year. Crude oil from Venezuela amounted to 3.8 million tons in the first ten months of this year.
