Shanghai tightens general insurance evasion supervision

Shanghai recently decided to establish a treatment and precaution mechanism to tackle payment arrears and general insurance, in an effort to protect the rights of migrant workers.

The Shanghai government will take further steps to improve advance payment in arrears of wages and general insurance and recovery mechanisms.

Shanghai will also tighten supervision on general insurance evasion. Workers involved in highly dangerous industries and specialized work must be trained and qualified.
