Wuhu launches China's 1st national auto electronics park

East China's Anhui Province on August 28 launched its Wuhu Auto Electronics Industrial Park, China's first national auto electronics park. The park, located in the Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone, occupies an area of 1.13 square kilometers.

So far the industrial park has attracted more than 30 companies in the field, including Siemens VDO Wuhu Automotive Instruments Co Ltd and Wuhu Bonaire Automotive Electrical Systems Co Ltd. In addition, the auto electronics park has three national engineering research and development centers and has ties with a number of institutions of higher learning and technical schools.

The Wuhu Auto Electronics Industrial Park will focus on auto engine electronic controls, auto body electronics controls, auto powertrain and traction control systems, auto safety and fault diagnosis systems, onboard information systems and basic auto electronic components.
