Beijing's media reported that China's share in international software market increased synchronously. The country's software export value was only US$400 million in 2000, but surged to US$3.59 billion in 2005.

Industrial experts believed that increasingly close convergence of policies, production, education and research was the main reason of the high-speed development of China's software industry in recent years. At present, the group of professional software talents continues to grow with a volume of 380,000 talents a year.
