IT: Lenovo head recognized

Yang Yuanqing, chairman of the Chinese computer giant Lenovo Group, was awarded the National Labour Medal, the highest award for workers in China, for his leadership in helping Lenovo enter the international market and become the biggest domestic computer maker.

Lenovo's team for the Torino Winter Olympic Games was also awarded the national labour certificate of merit for its outstanding performance in the Games, the first time that Lenovo acted as a computer supplier to the world's top sporting event.
