The Global Gaming League (GGL) is expecting at least one million subscribers
in China by the end of 2006, Brett W. Hawkins, president of the company, told
Xinhua at a forum in Chengdu Thursday. GGL, one of the world's biggest on-line
game operators with 1.3 million game subscribers around the world, has recently
set up its Asian headquarters in Chengdu, in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The annual China Hi-Tech Fair will for the first time put a spotlight on
individual inventions and "not-commonly-recognized" projects during this year's
event. The fair is slated to run between October 12 to 17 in Shenzhen, a coastal
city in South China's Guangdong Province. (China Daily)
