Lexus IS300C
The imported Lexus IS300C convertible sells for 673,000 yuan in China. The model is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 VVT-i engine that produces maximum power of 170Kw/6,200rpm. The IS300C has a 6-speed ETC-i gearbox, boasting a top torque of 300Nm/4,000rpm. The car has a top speed of 215 km per hour and accelerates from zero to 100 km an hour in 8.1 seconds. The model meets the Euro IV emission standard. The IS300C's length, width and height stand at 4,635 mm, 1,800 mm and 1,415 mm respectively. It has a 2,730-mm wheelbase.
Chery QQme 
The newly launched Chery QQme retails between 55,000 and 62,000 yuan. The fun micro is equipped with a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that produces maximum power of 61Kw/6,000rpm. It has a top speed of 167 km per hour. The QQme's five-speed manual transmission boasts a top torque of 114Nm/3,800-4,500rpm. The model, meeting the National IV emission standard, consumes only 4.6 liters of gasoline per 100 km at a speed of 60 km per hour. It is 3,747 mm long, 1,597 mm wide and 1,514 mm high. It has a 2,315-mm wheelbase. Chery expects the QQme to be a "Chinese Mini Cooper or Beetle" targeting young faddists. The model's archrivals include the Chevrolet Spark, Chang'an Benben, BYD F0 and Geely Panda.
New Buick LaCrosse
The new Buick LaCrosse, made at GM's joint venture with SAIC, retails between 219,900 and 319,900 yuan. The sedan has two engine options: 3.0-liter V6 and 2.4-liter four-cylinder. Both versions are equipped with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The 3.0 configuration produces maximum power of 190kW/6,800rpm and boasts top torque of 296Nm/5,600rpm. It has a top speed of 215 km per hour and accelerates from zero to 100 km an hour in 8.1 seconds. The 2.4 version produces maximum power of 125kW/6,400rpm and offers a top torque of 225Nm/4,800rpm. The new LaCrosse is 5,000 mm long, 1,858 mm wide and 1,497 mm high with a 2,837-mm wheelbase. Its major rivals include Toyota Crown and Camry, Honda Accord and Volkswagen Passat Lingyu.
