China stresses role of industrial financing in promoting Belt and Road Initiative

Lawrence Wong, minister for national development and second minister for finance of Singapore, said that the Belt and Road Initiative was very welcomed in Singapore. As an international financial center, the country, along with other world financial hubs, could provide financial support for the joint construction of the initiative.
A Belt and Road mutual investment book series and a white paper on overseas investment opportunities were published at the forum.
The industrial finance seminar was co-hosted by the Silk Road Planning Research Center, the ICC, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Ernst & Young Global Limited.
