The COVID-19 pandemic has affected over 200 countries and has caused public panic and stress. As a leading mental health institute and WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Mental Health, we share the English version of 'Online energy station' series of audio and video materials to send a helping hand to global colleagues and friends. At the beginning of February, The Psychological Rescue Team of Peking University sixth Hospital (PKUH6) has launched the Chinese version of 'Online energy station' series. These audio and video materials have helped amount of Chinese first-line staff, patients, general public to stay calm, isolate trauma, get relax and regain energy. We wish the English version of 'Online energy station' series will assist the global friends as well!
The first-line staff are overwhelmed by the long-term overload work. We still don't know when it will come to an end. In many cases, they may also suffer from fear and uncertainty as the public. How can the first-line staff both help the patient and protect themselves? The exercise below is mainly for them to recover from exhaustion and regain energy.
