Celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of New China's foundation will continue in the evening on Oct 1, with three major events highlighting the celebration, xinnews.com reported.
Jia Ding, the gala event's executive director, said 4,028 "trees" made by LED lights will show more than 800 pictures with different themes, which will "definitely bring the audience surprises".
Three fireworks paintings, 90 m long by 25 m wide each, will be shown over Tian'anmen Square along with the fireworks display.
The paintings will include one showing China's beautiful landscapes, a children's painting with an environmental protection theme, and a picture of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Each fireworks painting will be displayed for about one minute.
The fireworks show will last for 33 minutes, lighting up the Beijing sky to various types of music.
