China publishes 5th most scientific theses in the world

Research and development capabilities of China's universities now rank 5th in the world, said vice minister of education Hao Ping at a press conference today, Beijing Evening News reported.
Hao said, according to statistics of Science Citation Index (SCI), scientific theses published by China has ranked 5th since 2004, behind the United States, Britain, Germany and Japan.
