Dujkovic, whose men have arrived after another training camp in France, is not the only one to see such trips as a stepping stone to Olympic success.

Li Xiaoguang, the CFA official responsible for national team affairs, welcomed the stay with Chelsea, saying: "We are always keen to learn from foreign clubs and (national) teams.

"This is a wonderful chance to broaden our horizons -- for players, coaches and management teams... it will help boost the general development of Chinese football."

Midfielder Chen Tao was also upbeat, saying: "We'll make good use of this opportunity -- we'll learn from Chelsea's coaches and players by watching them and playing with them. By doing this, I think we can achieve our target at the Beijing Olympics."
