Morning swimming finals set for Beijing

International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive President Felli Gibert

press conference.The swimming finals and much of the gymnastics at the 2008
Beijing Olympics will be held in the morning in order to satisfy the needs of
host broadcaster NBC who paid U.S.$3.55 billion for rights to the 2000-2008
Games, says IOC Ocotober 26,2006. The competition schedule had finally been
agreed by the IOC's executive board "after a thorough consultation
