With the approval of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG), Bank of China, a banking partner of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, has become a BOCOG licensee to sell Olympic precious metal products, high-grade commemorative pins and other licensed merchandise.

The licensee's first outlet on China's mainland was opened today in Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia Autonomous Region in western China.

With the support of BOCOG, Bank of China started to sell licensed Olympic products in Macao Special Administrative Region on January 27, 2006 and the products have been sought after. The bank said it aims at setting 100 outlets in cities across China by the end of 2007, bringing its customer resources into full play.

As banking partner, Bank of China vows to provide quality banking services for the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
